Annie married John C. McClarran Jan. 22, 1885; and they became the parents of a son.
Annie was a generous and loving woman. She enjoyed gardening and her family. Late in life, Annie lost an arm to cancer but didn't let it slow her down. She continued caring for her home and became creative in completing her tasks. Annie wore her long dark hair in a bun, and enjoyed having her granddaughter comb her hair each evening.
At the age of 83, Mrs. Anna E. McClarran, died at 8:45 o'clock, Saturday night, Jan. 4, 1947, at her home near Donohoe.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.
She was survived by her son, George T. McClarran, at home; two grandsons, John S. McClarran, in the United States Army Air Forces in Japan, and Thomas M. McClarran at home. One grand daughter and one great grandson, both at home, also survived.
