3 SKELETONS UNEARTHED NEAR HAMMON - While making terraces 2 miles south and 1 west of Hammon on the Linville farm, Glen Trent unearthed 3 skeletons buried in the same grave. Two arrows, one in the skull of one and the other near the back, indicates that the three were victims of shots from arrows.

Assisting in the unearthing were Undersheriff Leon Gilliland, Roy Drennen, Pete Stout, Ralph Walker and Leon Tomberlin. The skeletons were found Tuesday.

Authorities have been notified to determine wheather(sic) the bones are those of white men or of Indians.
