Clifton Anderson Services Held Friday
Clifton Andrew Anderson, 71, of Tishomingo died Wednesday last week in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Born in Durant, he was reared in Bryan County and lived in Tishomingo since 1954. He was a drug sundries salesman and a member of the Church of Christ. He married Romia Irene Carroll Oct. 10, 1951 in Ardmore.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a stepson, Dan Barger of Orange, Calif., a daughter Cherry Dorverspike of Williamburg, Va.; two stepdaughters, Sandra Kendall of Downey, Calif. and Marilyn Foster of Orange; his stepmother, Bessie White of Houston, Tex. four brothers Clinton Anderson of Texas, Clyde Anderson of Guam, James R. Anderson of Flagstaff,Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday in the Church of Christ in Tishomingo with Leon Estep officiating. Burial was in Condon Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Claude Kreger, Joe Borza, Frank Alexander, Earl Lee Deaton, T. B. Akers and C. H. Olen.
Arrangements were by Richard Smith Funeral Home.
