Born in Morriston, Ark to George E. and Mattie (Cranford) Branscome. Moved to Oklahoma in his youth. Married 22 August 1920 to Mollie Keel in Pontotoc County, OK. Moved to Phoenix in the early 1940s. from Ada, Okla. He was a carpenter and resided at 2845 W. Yuma, Phoenix, Arizona. He was a World War 1 Veteran.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Molly of Phoenix; four sons Lester, Edward and Thomas W. Jr, all of San Diego and George of Fresno, Calif; and four daughters, Mrs. George (Leslie Mae) Hester, Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Palmer, and Mrs. Vic Allen (Wanda L.) all of Phoenix and Mrs. B. J. (Edna) Holtzclaw of Long Beach, Calif.
Also surviving were two sisters, Mrs. Ed Allison of Phoenix and Mrs. Emma Tyes of San Bernandino. CA; four brothers Edward of Oklahoma City, Okls, Gene and Ivan of Dallas, Texas and Les of Ada, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
