Charles M. Gerstein, 73, of Lancaster, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at the home of his son, Howard J. Gerstein, M.D.
He was the husband of Barbara Margolis Gerstein with who he was married 51 years on June 13.
Charles was a retired insurance agent for American General.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Albert and Mae Danner Gerstein.
He was a member of Congregation Degel Israel and the Lancaster JCC.
Surviving is one son, Howard J. Gerstein, M.D. married to Sally, of Lancaster; one daughter, Beth Ann Gerstein, of Boston, MA; one grandson, Joshua and one sister, Maxine Bloom, of York.
Funeral Services were held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA on Monday with Rabbi Shaya Sackett. Shiva will be observed at the Residence Howard J.
