R. L. Bilyeu, 75, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lyle Keith, Walton, Thursday evening. He formerly resided at Halsey and has many relatives and friends in Linn and Lane counties.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2 p.m., Pine Grove Cemetery, Halsey. Mr. Bilyeu was born in the Bilyeu Den community near Scio, Linn County. Besides the daughter here, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Wayne Barber of Oakridge and Mrs. Eola Falk of Rickerall and four sons, Roy of Portland, Chester of Cle Elum, Washington, Dean of Halsey, and Cecil of Harrisburg.
