A daughter of Garland B & Dora Schaeffer Spencer, she married Earl David Peck.

Mrs. Lyda Belle Peck, the wife of Earl D. Peck, died at 1:20 o'clock this morning in her home, 257 West Simmons Street, of complications. She had been ill for two and a half years, and was bedfast the past five months.
Lyda Belle Spencer was born in Henderson, Ky., on June 28, 1892, the daughter of Garland B. and Dora Spencer, both deceased. She grew up and received her education in Henderson, Ky., and was married there on Sept. 13, 1913, to Earl D. Peck. The family moved here in 1916. Mrs. Peck was a member of Central Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband, three children, Earl Jr., William, and Paul Peck at home, and two brothers, Frank Spencer of Henderson, Ky. and Hillary Spencer of Avilia, Mo.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the home, 257 West Simmons Street, and burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday and Friday evenings at the home.

RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. EARL D. PECK HERE
Funeral services for Mrs. Earl D. Peck were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the home, 257 West Simmons Street, in charge of the Rev. J.H. Westbrook. Mrs. D.C. Beatty and Mrs. George Shirck sang "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Burial was in Hope Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers were Frank Weismann, Frank Drake, A. Swanson, J. Connor, J. Coffey, K. Bellinger, C. Templeton, Mr. Williams, N.H. Norman and John Dickerson. Active bearers were Dr. J. Wiley Lucas of Abingdon, Fred Bone, James E. Davis, Seth Huston, J.W. Morrissey and George O'Donnell.
Attending from out of town were Mrs. Ben Irsh and Mrs. Permelia Dickerson of Chicago.
