Daughter of Joseph and Mary Short Cowan.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a brother, John R. Cowan, Ellwood City; a sister Mrs. Doris Cowan Woodin Lankford of Waynesville, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters. Mrs. Bessie "Betty" Cowan Rodgers Gartner, Mrs. Lucy (Raymond) Houk and Mrs. Ruth (Arch) Nagel, and two brothers, Joseph Cowan and Wilbur "Buzz" Cowan.

Married for over 50 years to John "Jack" Johnson. They never had any children. They were totally devoted to each other. Jack died the day before her 76th birthday.

Rest in peace Aunt Nellie. I love you and miss you.
