Bedford Services Planned at Willows
Funeral services are to be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Sweet Chapel at Willows for Charles Henry Bedford, 82, who died yesterday in Glenn General Hospital. Rev. Howard Mooney will officiate at the services and burial in the Willows cemetery will follow.
Bedford was born April 27, 1876, at Elk Creek and had lived in Glenn County all of his life. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bedford, who were among the early pioneer settlers of the foothill area.
Surviving him are his wife, Eula of Willows; a son, William, Los Angeles; a daughter Mrs. Mildred Link, and a sister, Mrs. Connie Gould, both of Sacramento, and a brother, Mark Bedford of Willows. – Transcribed by M.
