Betty Jean Speller, 68, Kokomo, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at North Woods Village. She was born Feb. 19, 1944, in Live Oak, Fla., the daughter of Mildred Lucille (Swilley) Voyles.
Betty is survived by life partner of 33 years, Ron Shields: three daughters, Mary Sue Smith and her husband Randy, Patricia Ann Speller, Dorothy Marie Dunn and her husband Lurch; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Carolyn Speller and Robert Speller; two grandchildren; and her former husband, Mario Speller.
Shirley and Stout Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
