Funeral services for Mrs. Leo Swearengin Dailey, 72, of 1910 North Dixie Avenue, Cookeville, will be today at 2 p.m. at the Dodson Banch Free Will Baptist Church with Bro Oliver McCowen officiating. Burial will be in the Dodson Branch cemetery.
She died Friday, May 9, 1986 in the Cookeville General Hospital.
Born on Dec 28, 1913 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Palo and Callie Burris Swearengin. She was a homemaker, and the wife of the late Birdie Dailey. Mrs. Dailey was a member of the Dodson Branch Free Will Bapist Church.
Her family includes a son, Bill Dailey of Cookeville; sisters Emma Smith of Cookeville and Alva Gentry of Huntington Beach, Calif; a brother, Pat Swearengin of Cookeville.
Whitson Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
