RACINE – Hazel Johnson, 2843 Eisenhower Drive, age 72, passed away on July 3, 1985, at Shady Lawn Rest Home in Kenosha.

She was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on December 31, 1912, to Frank and Sebila Rose and had lived in Racine since 1927. Mrs. Johnson was Secretary for the Wisconsin Sportsmen Association for 15 years.

Surviving are two sons, James L (Sylvia) Danzer of Springfield, Missouri, Robert R. (Joy) Danzer of Racine; two sisters, Florence Sorenson of Nina, Wisconsin, Elila West of Minneapolis, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Renee (Archie) Heider, Norma Obuchowski, Richard Obuchowski, Martin Danzer, Lee Danzer, all of Racine, Michael Danzer, Craig Danzer, Melinda Danzer, all of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Danzer, in 1963, and second husband, Martin (Doc) Johnson in 1975, and one daughter, Norma Danzer.

Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, July 7, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Kasuboski Funeral Home, 1435 Douglas Avenue. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
