ROBERT STICKLES

Robert Stickles passed away, Wednesday, November 26, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wesley McRorie of Springfield, where he had come to make his home about six weeks ago. He was a resident of Fly Creek where he was well known and respected by all who knew him. Robert Stickles was born in Delaware (County, NY) ninety two years ago, and was a remarkably active man for his years. He was married to Alice Chapman, who died, October 28, 1911. He leaves 5 sons and 5 daughters to mourn his loss. Howard *(should read Harvey)* of Clayville, William of Warren, Lewis of Ilion, John of Henderson and Lynn of Schuyler Lake. Mrs. Mary Bates of Syracuse, Mrs. Anna Kinney of Cooperstown, Mrs. Wesley McRorie of Springfield, Mrs. Frank Barbour of Rye, Mrs. Harriett Pickert of Frankfort, and several grandchildren. Prayer was made at the house and funeral at Fly Creek. Interment in the Fly Creek Cemetery.
