Funeral services for Miss Anita McClure, daughter of the late Colonel Charles McClure, who died at her home in Washington, DC, Saturday, were held yesterday afternoon. The funeral cortege formed at the Pennsylvania Railroad station, West High street, at 4:25 o'clock when the body arrived here and proceeded to the Old Graveyard. Burial was made in the family plot beside the grave of Miss McClure's great grandfather, Chief Justice John Banister Gibson, of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Rev H D Viets, rector of the St John's Episcopal church, officiated.
Miss McClure is survived by two brothers, George McClure, of New York City, and William McClure, of Washington, DC.
In September, 1929, Miss McClure unveiled a tablet erected by the state to the memory of Chief Justice Gibson at Gibson's Mill, Perry County.
