Troy -- A graveside service for Edgar Clary, a long-time Troy resident, will be today at 3 p.m. at the Moscow Cemetery.

Clary died Wednesday at Boise, where he had lived since 1959. He was 84.

Clary was the last surviving charter member of the Troy Grange. He was a 50-year member.

A native of Ripley, Okla., he was born Feb. 4, 1897. He moved to Troy following service in World War I.
He married Matilda Brennan Olson Aug. 6, 1944. She died Dec. 2, 1969 at Troy.

He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, the Moscow and Orofino IOOF lodges, Clearwater Encampment, Pioneer IOOF Lodge at Idaho City, Moscow Star Rebekah Lodge, Kendrick Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Boise and Syringa Court No. 2 of Amaranth.

Survivors include a daughter Shelley Alden of Boise; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The funeral was Monday in Boise. Short's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
