Matilda's burial place is unknown at this time.
Elijah died in 1865 Monroe County, Kentucky. His brother Joseph Cardon Gillenwater died in Canyon City OR.

She had her last child with Alfred Rousse and named her Malissa Jane Gillenwater Rouse.
