"Daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Steffey) Staley. She married Joseph Buck on Dec.23,1825 in Wythe Co., VA. She was either his 2nd cousin, or 2nd cousin once removed. His maternal grandfather was a brother of either her maternal grandfather or great-grandfather.
Her brother Reuben Staley is in the Switzer/Hite Cem., in Monroe County."
