According to the 1930 Census, Kenneth, son of Mary and Arthur Joseph LeFebvre, had four younger brothers, Charles, Arthur, William, and Norvin. His father worked as an engineer for the Great Lakes and his paternal grandfather, Edward Joseph LeFebvre, who was born in 1846, was an immigrant from Belgium. During W. W. II., Kenneth enlisted in the United States Army at Marquette, Michigan. His Draft Regsistration Card indicated he only had a high school education, was not married, but had dependents. He was of slight stature, as his height was 5' 4" tall and he weighed 121 lbs. Kenneth had enlisted November 12, 1942 and was discharged October 26, 1945.
