Mrs. Ingram passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at her residence after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 9th, at Osborn Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in the Chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. Scott Tatum, Pastor Emeritus and Dr. Larry Williams, of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Mae was a resident of Shreveport, LA for many years. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Lafayette and Baton Rouge, LA. Her marriage to Sid Ingram, Sr. spanned 62 years until his death in 2002. She was very active in church as well as numerous civic clubs including garden clubs, bridge clubs and dinner clubs. Mae enjoyed cooking for large groups, gardening, flower arranging and interior decorating. We feel fortunate and blessed to have had her for so many years and will miss her dearly. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother. She is survived by two sons, Sid, Jr. and wife, Peggy, of DeQueen, AR and Raymond Stewart of Shreveport; four grandchildren, Melissa Smar and husband, Vince, of Denver, CO, David Ingram and wife, Nicki, of Bartlesville, OK, Shannon Ingram of Gonzales, LA and Shane Ingram, of Baton Rouge; and two great grandchildren, Elliott Ingram and Patton Chauvin. Her sons and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
