A memorial service was held May 18 in Delray Beach, followed by interment in the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach Memorial Garden.

Joyce Joan Phelps, 79, of Delray Beach, FL passed away on May 14, 2012. Joyce was born July 10, 1932 in Auburn, NY and graduated from Fox Hollow School, Lenox, MA in 1950 and from Syracuse University in 1954 with a B.S. in Psychology. Joyce was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, PEO, The Little Club of Gulfstream and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She is survived by her husband, Philip Phelps; brother, Kenneth E. Penny; son and daughter, Christopher G. Phelps, and Elizabeth J. Perez; grandsons, Tristan D. Cramer and Winston G. Phelps and her great grandson Hunter Philip Cramer. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall at the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, followed by Internment in the Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach Capital Fund or the Hospice of Palm Beach County.
