CORINNA - Shirley C. Page, 67, passed away June 11, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 8, 1937, the son of Merle and Arlene (Puffer) Page. He loved his farm and his camp and many outdoor activities. He also loved and enjoyed his two sons and his dogs. Shirley was well known for his "Round Woodpiles" on the Corinna Center Road. He worked at Dexter Agway for 44 years before retiring to his cherished camp and pond where he enjoyed watching all the children at the fishing derbies and all the swimmers. He is survived by two loving sons, Merle E. Page and his companion, Judi Arey, of Corinna and Mark S. Page of Dexter; two grandchildren, Lindsey M. Page of Pittsfield, and Mark S. Page Jr. of Dexter; and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Clifton Page. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2005, at the Corinna Center Cemetery. (Bangor Daily News 6/13/2005)
