Peter was the 4th child and 1st son of Joseph and Anna (Metzer) Biersack. He was born at St. Lawrence, Washington Co., WI. He resided in the town of Barton for several years and in the spring of 1887 moved to the vicinity of Ardmore, SD. He operated a farm on the South Dakota-Mebraska border until 22 May 1931, when he moved to Milwaulkee to make his home with his neice, Gertrude Biersack Zeltinger where he lived until his death. Peter never married.
