RICH YOUNG RANCHER TO MARRY HIS COUSIN
-------------------
Bridegroom Lost His First Wife in a Tragic Manner
Elton E. Shore, a wealthy rancher of Kings county, yesterday secured in this city a marriage license to wed his first cousin, Miss Edith M. Shore. News of the event caused surprise among relatives of the couple, according to advices from Hanford.
Miss Shore, who gave her age as 43, is the daughter of Thomas Shore, a well-to-do rancher near Cupertino. Shore's first wife was drowned in an irrigation canal on the Shore ranch a year ago. She had fallen into the water while watching Shore swim and when he returned up stream he met her body floating down toward him.
