David Edward Baldridge, 39, Independence, Kansas, died early Tuesday morning, December 8, 2009 as the result of a house fire.
David was born December 16, 1969 at Coffeyville, Kansas to Joey Edward Baldridge and his mother who survives. He grew up in Coffeyville, Oswego, Edna and Altamont, attending high school at Labette County High School. David had moved to Independence, six years ago. He enjoyed helping people, especially friends who knew that they could count on him. David loved dogs and loved visiting with family. He was a model car and Remote Control car enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR, wrestling and UFC fights. David was very proud of his 2001 Dodge Ram SS and was known as a loving son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his mother of Coffeyville; brother of Coffeyville; sister and her husband of Coffeyville; a close friend, Cora of Coffeyville; friend and roommate, Donald Tosh, Sr. of Independence; his in-laws, the Gardener family; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephews.
A memorial service will be held, 11 AM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at Grace Fellowship Church with Reverend Gerald Morris officiating, under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
