Child: Corinne E. Tricker (b. 3 May 1924)
Full Sibling: Albert Tricker (b 1887)
Henry Tricker was married 3 times. 1st wife and child had died within three years of their marriage. 2nd marriage was to Ann [O'Keefe] Keefe who died a few years after their last child of 6 children was born. He then married for the 3rd time Ellen Keefe who was Ann's full sister and children Albert & Frank.
In this memorial, it states Henry & Ellen's child, Frank, was a 1/2 sibling to the other children. That is not totally correct.
If children have the same father and the two sets of children have different mothers who were full sisters, how are siblings related?
The two sets of children would be somewhere in between full and half siblings.
You could call them "three-quarters" siblings.
Full siblings share on average ½ of their DNA
Half siblings share ¼ DNA with one who was the same parent.
Two sets of children with the same father but with different mothers who were full sisters would share ⅜ of their DNA.
The two sets of children are definitely closer to being siblings than cousins at the genetic level. Cousins only share on average ⅛ of their DNA.
Bio
Frank's schooling ended after the 4th grade.
Frank was a small man, 5ft 6in tall and the most he ever weighed was 118 pounds. He had coal black hair, brown eyes and olive complexion.
Frank chose to be a mechanic's apprentice instead of going to work in his father's cigar shop and factory in NY
Frank's mother and him were still in NY to at least 1909.
By 1917, he, his mother and 3/8 sister were in California.
Sometime after marriage, Frank was a Chauffeur for wealthy private family.
By 1930, Frank and his wife turned their home into a boarding house for mainly collage students serving only breakfast.
