Wilber N. Kime

The funeral for Wilbur Nicholas Kime, 95, of Medford, who died Sunday, will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday in the Conger-Morris Medford chapel with the Rev. Delbert Keller of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Mr. Kime was born Nov. 7, 1889 in Happy Camp, Calif. The family moved to Medford two years later and he attended Griffin Creek School.

On Dec. 6, 1911, in Talent, he married the former Helen B. Quackenbush, who died in 1981.

For 11 years Mr. Kime drove a Model T school bus for Griffin Creek School. He retired from Medford Corp. where he had worked as a night watchman.

He was a member of the Redman Lodge.

Survivors include five sons, Gerald E. Kime, Central Point, Ralph F. Kime, Medford, John J. Kime, Rogue River, William N. Kime, Oregon City, and Richard R. Kime in Alaska; three daughters, Marguerite Atkins and Hazel M. Nyberg, both Medford, and Remo L. Wilson, Oakridge; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and seven Great-great-grandchildren. One child died in 1935.
