On November 3, 2003, REV RONALD P. PYTEL, appointed the fifth Pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Baltimore, Maryland, in 1991, beloved son of the late Peter R. and Jeanette L. Pytel (nee Grocki), loving brother of Michael E. Pytel and his wife Linda A. Pytel, cherished uncle of Jessica I. Pytel.
Lifelong friend of Rev. Larry J. Gesy. Also survived by many friends and his parish family.
Born in Southeast Baltimore, he attended Holy Rosary School.
Requiem Mass celebrated in Holy Rosary Church. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
It was suggested that memorial contributions be made for the Holy Rosary Cemetery Chapel Restoration. When restored, the Chapel will be dedicated to the Divine Mercy.
Rev. Pytel's memorial stone lay beside the Chapel Building.

The Rev. Ronald Pytel, the pastor of Holy Rosary Church, in Southeast Baltimore, whose recovery from a Life threatening heart condition, was declared a miracle by Vatican authorities four years ago, died of kidney cancer at a home he had restored in Middle Way, West Virginia. He was 56.
His full recovery after valve replacement surgery surprised, not only his Johns Hopkins doctor, but also set in motion an inquiry by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore.
