HOULTON - Lillian I. Grant, 84, widow of Edward H. Grant, died Dec. 1 at a Houlton hospital. She was born in Cantebury, N.B. Sept. 28, 1893, daughter of Edmund and Maria (Way) Grant. She attended the Military Street Baptist Church in Houlton, former resident of Crystal. She is survived by two sons, David Grant of Houlton, Joseph Grant of Island Falls; two daughters, Mrs. G. Robert (Elsie) Hoskin of Houlton, Mrs. J. Merlin (Freda) Carson of Linneus; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton, Friday, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Dunn Funeral Home, Saturday, 1:30 with Rev. Robert Butler, Pastor of the Church of the Good Shepherd officiating. Interment will be in the Crystal Cemetery.
