"Mrs Clare Ann Campbell, 86, of 210 W Elm St, died at 4:20 am, Saturday, April 18, 1992, at Grandview Health Care Center, Oil City, where she had been a resident since Sept 9, 1991. Mrs Campbell was born June 1, 1905, in Stewart Run, Harmony Township, Forest County, a daughter of the late Henry and Ola Copeland Osten. She was a graduate of West Hickory High School in 1922. She married Roy Jordan Campbell on Nov 14, 1924, in New Kensington. He preceded his wife in death on March 7, 1958. She owned and operated Campbell's Hair Shop in New Kensington for 30 years. After moving to Long Beach, Calif, she was employed by General Telephone from 1959 to 1964. From 1969 to 1977, she was a real estate salesperson for Rex L Hodges Realty in Long Beach. She returned to Pennsylvania in 1977 to reside in Tionesta before moving to Titusville. She was a member of the Bruce Shorts Post #5958 VFW Auxilliary. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Ann Campbell of Titusville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends of Mrs Campbell will be received...at the Leo N Hennes Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday with Rev Daniel R Defassio, pastor of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Stewart Run Cemetery, Harmony Township, Forest County."
