Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Bob Ross officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Military rites are by DAV Chapter 26. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Early was born 12 June 1941 in Chillicothe, Hardeman, Texas to Nathan Juble Early and Lola Dell Thurman. He married Mary Jo Hudgins on 15 Feb 1963 in Amarillo. Mr. Early was a former Sav-A-Stop employee and had worked as a salesman for Panhandle Leather Company for many years.
Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Early of Amarillo; three sons , Stephane Lang and wife Becky of Cedar Springs, Mich., Tony Early and wife Sheree and Brad Early and wife Elizabeth, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Nelda Dorough and Daisy Lowe of Saginaw, Texas, Wanda Kleinebreil of Saginaw, Mich., and Barbara "Bobbie" Teal of Marino Valley, Calif., 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX, 79174.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Early May.
