Clarence S. Gaskill, 73, 512 Euclid St., died at 9:15 AM Saturday at Defiance hospital. He was born in Williams County July 21, 1900, the son of George W. And Lottie H. (Rose) Gaskill. He married Fern E. Stock on May 8, 1932 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons Ronald E., Rte 2 and Larry W., 1009 Jefferson Ave.; one granddaughter. Gaskill lived in Defiance and served as an automobile mechanic for 18 years at Simmons Chevrolet and then served as a gas station attendant at the Defiance friendly service station for seven years and also employed at the C & H bowling alley the last 11 years. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a life member of the Defiance County Fish and Game Association. Services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at Mast and Mock funeral home, the Rev. C. Edwin Pellett officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
