Charles married Lois Singley Oct 17, 1928 in Salt Lake, Utah.
They farmed and ranched for many years in the Grays Lake area.
Their children were Beverly, Luana, and Valois. Cheryl, and Larry.

Charles H. Tingey, 63, former rancher from the Grays Lake area, died Feb. 4, in a Salt Lake City hospital of a heart attack.
He was born June 21, 1907 in Grays Lake to Perrigrene and Hattie Tingey. He married Lois Singley Oct. 17, 1928 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
Mr. Tingey was the former of the National Forest Advisory Committee and president of the Cattleman's Association in Grays Lake.
He is survived by his widow; a son, Larry Charles, Bountiful, Utah; four daughters, Mrs Valois Henry Bountiful; Mrs. Calvin (Beverly) Miles, Firth, Idaho, Mrs Robin (Luana) Hood, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Dennis (Cheryl) Coon, Woods Cross, Utah 18 grandchildren; four brothers, Perry E., and Thomas T., both of Sacramento, Calif., Derril B., Centerville, Utah, and Melvin, Bountiful; four sisters, Mrs Able (Mae) Kunz, Montpelier, Idaho; Mrs. John (Edna) Trimble, St. George, Utah; Mrs. Doyle (Phyllis) Warnick, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Carman, Bountiful.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m. In the Bountiful, Twenty-first LDS Ward. Burial will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
