Nora was born October 21, 1923, Rogersville, MO to James H. and Velma I. (Kissee) Roller. She worked for Stauffer Publications in the circulation department in Topeka for many years and then as the circulation manager in Independence, MO retiring after 43 years in 1989.
She was a resident at the Golden Living Center in Wakefield, KS and served as the President of the Residents Council in which she organized activities. She loved to read and really enjoyed reading to the elementary children when they would come to visit. In years past she enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son Gail A. Winn (Sharon) of Independence, MO, her six siblings; Dorothy Sundberg of Palmyra, IL, Opal Hauserman of Junction City, KS, James Roller, Jr. (Wilma) of Clovis, NM, Harry Roller of Bellevue, NE, Dixie Thomas (Bert) of Junction City, KS and Melvin Roller (Deanna) of Starbuck, MN, one granddaughter Amber Atkins (Tim) and two great-granddaughters, Ariana and Madelyn Ann Atkins all of Independence, MO, twenty three nieces and nephews and forty nine great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Billy Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Jim Butler, John Perez and Erich Sullivan.
