SERVICES HELD FOR HARRY LANG, 85

Harry J. Lang, 85, well known retired Beaverton Township farmer, died Friday in the Clare Osteopathic Hospital following an illness of 10 months.

Mr. Lang was born on July 11, 1883, in Mendo to George and Anna Lang. He had been a resident of Gladwin County for 50 years.

He married the former Elizabeth Winger in 1905 in Sturgis. She passed away in December 1962. On Jan. 2, 1964, Mr. Lang was married to Mrs. Maude F. Kline in Arcadia, Fla.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leon Dull of Clare; one brother, Ezra of Beaverton, and a half-brother Floyd of Three Rivers; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Clare Methodist Church. The Rev. Lester Ruegsegger and the Rev. Donald Winegar officiated and burial was in the Cherry Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Stephenson Funeral Home.
