News has reached Gulfport of the death yesterday in a Memphis hospital of Mrs. J. M. Richardson of Magee, Miss., mother of Mrs. E. S. Flynt, Handsboro, and member of one of the state's prominent families. Mrs. Flynt, wife of Rev. E. S. Flynt, was at her mother's bedside when she died and Rev. Flynt and daughter, Ernestine, left Gulfport this afternoon to attend the funeral which will be at Magee tomorrow.

Mrs. Richardson was the mother of 13 children, all of whom are still living. Among her sons, well-known in the Coast section, is Rev. J. C. Richardson, former pastor of the Poplarville Baptist Church and former state chaplain of the American Legion.
