Jewell Mozelle (Forrest) Russell

Mrs. Jewell (Forrest) Russell was born on September 22, 1923 in Huntington, Texas to the late Stella (Snowden) and Edward Randolph Forrest and died on Sunday, October 27, 2002 at her residence in Oak Flat Community, Huntington, Texas, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Mrs. Russell resided in the Oak Flat Community of Huntington for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dale Blanton Russell of Huntington, whom she married on August 9, 1940: son, Hayden Blanton Russell of Dallas, daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Clifford Kingsley of Deer Park, grandchildren, Cynthia Russell Kaiser (Joe), Melissa Kingsley Airhart (Danny), Ryan Kingsley, great granddaughter, Fawn Elizabeth Foster (Zion), brothers, Hosea Forrest of Huntington, Wayne Forrest (Barbara) of Lufkin, sisters, Thelma Carrell of Huntington, and Betty Lois Giese (Frank) of Brazoria, Sister-in-law, Mrs. Eloise (Cricket) Nerren Forrest, as well as a host of other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Norman (Pete) Forrest, half-brother, Winfred W. Forrest, grandson-in-law, Robert M. Foster, brother-in-law, Floyd Carrell, and nephew, John Gregory Forrest, as well as a host of other loved ones.
