Janet married Thurl Steven Kester, 7 Mar 1965 at United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon, Indiana. Thurl & Janet owned Kester's Electric Motor Service of Warsaw, Indiana (which Thurl's Dad Clyde started in early 1960's) Janet was the book keeper of their business & worked beside Thurl. Janet & Thurl raised Greg Kester (Thurl's brother who is 18 years younger)after their parent's death. Janet & Thurl had 3 children: Steven Thurl, William Clyde & Laura Kathelin.
