Janet Worley was born April 4, 1955 and departed this life Tuesday, May 29, 2012 reaching the age of 57. She was the daughter of Bro. Harold and the late Mary (Parmley) Smith.
She was united in marriage to Jerry "Max" Worley and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by: her husband, Max Worley of Monticello, KY; 1 son, Jerry Worley of Monticello, KY; and 1 daughter, Mary Angela (Russell) Gray of Louisville, KY; 3 grandchildren, Lily and Mackilee Worley, and Alexander Gray. She is also survived by: her father, Bro. Harold Smith of Monticello, KY; 4 brothers, Samie (Earlene) Smith, David (Linda) Smith, Danny (Melody) Smith, and Johnny (Sandy) Smith all of Monticello, KY; and 1 sister, Shirley (Steve) Sullivan of Hartselle, AL; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Mary Smith.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: The American Cancer Society or Relay for Life
