Mrs. Elroy (Margaret) M. Kiel, age 86, of 14015 Reif Mills Road, Cato, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at the residence.
The former Margaret Czarneski was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Denmark, daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline Kerowicz Czarneski. On Dec. 19, 1952, Margaret was married to Elroy Kiel in Brown County. The couple farmed and she enjoyed gardening and polka dancing and the animals of the farm, especially chickens, ducks and geese. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband: Elroy, of Cato; four sons and daughters-in-law: Raymond (Susan) Kiel of Hanover Park, Ill.; Michael (Kathy) Kiel of Whitelaw; Joseph (Mary) Kiel of Manitowoc; Anthony (Paula) Kiel of Mishicot; two daughters and one son-in-law; Elaine Martin of Green Bay; JoAnn Kiel (Justin Glavin) of Cato; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph (Mary) Czarneski of Green Bay; Elmer (Connie) Czarneski of Denmark; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Emily Kaminski of Green Bay; Florence Ferron of DePere; Dorothy (James) Kobes of Two Rivers; Evelyn (Augie) Noss of Crivitz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.
She as preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The Rev. Rallen Stencil will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Branch Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until he time of services at 10:30 a.m. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Advantage Hospice of Sheboygan and all who helped our family in our hours of need.
