Funeral services for Arthur Kiel, 72, of Whitelaw, who died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Reformed UCC, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Crusius will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Branch.
Mr. Kiel was born June 16, 1894, at Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Charles and Amanda Rahn Kiel. He married Evelyn Damman Oct. 5, 1934, and the couple farmed the homestead farm until he retired in 1961 and moved to Whitelaw.
He is survived by his wife; five sons and two daughters; two brothers, Oscar of Rt. 1, Whitelaw and Arno of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Emil Franz,
of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and 11 grandchildren. A sister and two granddaughters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Monday when the casket will be taken to the church and the body lie in state until time of service. Memorials to the church building fund may be sent.
