Ned C. Swetlik, 55, of 2218 Herman Road, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening,
April 22, 1990, at the Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the Pfeffer Funeral
Home and 1:30 p.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding
the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial to follow
in the Branch Evergreen Cemetery, Branch.
He was born May 21, 1934, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of Stephen
Swetlik and the late Calla Brunig Swetlik. He married Helen Bernard Fischer
on October 21, 1963, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was employed as a Model Maker
with Hamilton Industries of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, for the past 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Swetlik of Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-
in-law, Dennis and Mary Swetlik of Two Rivers, Randy and Ronnel Swetlik of Two
Rivers, Brian W. and Sandra Swetlik of Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law,
Julie and Dave Gresl of Green Bay and Carla Swetlik of Manitowoc; two step sons
and one step daughter-in-law, Jerrold and Michelle Fischer of Oceanside, California,
Michael Fischer of Las Vegas, Nevada; one step daughter, Susan Schamburek of Green
Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carol Swetlik of Manitowoc; his
step mother, Ann H. Swetlik of Manitowoc; and a future son-in-law, James Baetke;
six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. where a
prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Don Gigure.
