Henry W. Meyer, 79, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, retired Manitowoc Rapids farmer, died Thursday afternoon at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Reformed Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. A.C. Fischer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Branch.
Meyer was born on the homestead farm where he spent his entire life in 1874, and in 1904 he married Miss Barbara Foerster. He retired from active farming 17 years ago. His wife is the only survivor.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Saturday. The casket will be moved to the church Sunday noon.
