Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Herman Lee and Mildred Anderson Bagwell. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School, had been employed by Eastwell Sports Wear and was a member of Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Joan Butler of the home; sisters-in-law, Jo Nell Bagwell of Greenwood, Essie Mae Butler and Grace Butler, both of Ninety Six.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Lee Bagwell and her brother, John R. Bagwell.
