Grace Elizabeth Kelleher, 87, of Benton; died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Helia Healthcare Center in Benton.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton, with Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery of Benton. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Grace was born on April 21, 1925 in Chicago the daughter of Daniel D. Kelleher and Willamina (Richter) Kelleher.
She was a homemaker. At age 79 Grace gave her life to her Lord and Savior and was later baptized at the Whittington Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Nancy Daum of Benton, two sons Scott Schmidt of Sacramento, CA and Carl Schmidt and wife Laura of Walnut Hill, IL; eight grandchildren: Terry Rechsteiner and wife Nicole of Benton, Trina and husband Denzil McClintock of Whittington, Joshua Schmidt and wife Amanda of Walnut Hill, IL, Jon Schmidt of Walnut Hill, IL, Jessica Schmidt of Chicago, Crystal Schmidt, Jacob Schmidt and Jenelle Schmidt all of California; eight great-grandchildren: Alisha, Hunter, Roman and Mia Rechsteiner, Wyatt and Trey McClintock, Maddie and Ava; a sister Ruth Marlewski, and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Kelleher was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Violet Galloway and a brother Dan Kelleher.
