Joseph Blacklock, son of Christopher Blacklock and first wife Ann, (both of England), worked the coal mines and railroad. He came as a young boy with his father & Stepmother Mary, to Kansas in the early 1880s. He died after falling from a train car, just outside of Raton, New Mexico. The "Railroad Trainman's Journal", dated January, 1894, documents his final journey to family & last resting place here.
(I did not find Joseph Blacklock's name in this cemetery list, but by research, found his step-mother's daughter, his "sister" by marriage, Hattie Grills, Blacklock, Redding, and final married name of Lenard... I found her & her husband, John W Lenard's headstone picture here. What a stroke of luck that whoever took that picture, included Joseph Blacklock's headstone right next to theirs.)
