Violet May Osborn, 80, a lifelong resident of Bay Head, NJ, died at home on Sunday, June 5, 1994.
Mrs. Osborn was the tax collector for the borough of Bay Head from 1966 until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Bay Head, and the Bay Head Fire Auxiliary.
She was survived by her husband, Floyd A. Osborn, Jr; two daughters, Barbara May (Osborne) Ness and Joanne Louise (Osborn) Sullivan; a brother, Wayne H. Applegate; a sister, Dorothy Marie (Applegate) Eagle; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
