Henrietta Wishard was a twin; her sister was Emmazetta. They were called Etta and Emma. Their parents were Robert Thomas Wishard and Lavinia Carney, who married in 1853 in Shelby County, Indiana. The first two children were born in Indiana, but the other seven were born in Bloomfield, Iowa. Robert served throughout the Civil War in the Iowa 3rd Cavalry. About 1875, the family moved to Fannin County, Texas. Etta married John Sebastian White in 1886 - they had two daughters, Audrey Earl and Velma Bell White. "Mama White" spent the later years of her life in the home of Audrey and her husband, Robert Charles Haden.

Mrs. Henrietta White, 94, widow of John S. White, died at home here Friday, after being ill several years.
Funeral services, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. were held at First Christian Church by the Rev. John Waddell of Royse City, Delta Funeral Home made burial in the IOOF cemetery, pallbearers were W. C. Haden, John Haden, Robert Haden, Billy Bertram, Whitt Giddens and Clifton Wishard.
Daughter of late Robert and Lavine (Curvner) [this is an error - she was Lavinia Carney] Wishard, Mrs. White was born in Bloomsfield, Iowa, December 7, 1861. She was married in 1887 to the late Mr. White, and had made her home in Ladonia most of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Haden, Ladonia, and Mrs. W. E. Bertram, Abilene; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
