Services for Nelva L. Adams, 72, of Lubbock, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Broadview Baptist Church in Lubbock. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 Monday, July 16, 2007, at Agape Funeral Chapel.

She died Friday, July 13, 2007. She was born Jan. 9, 1935.

She was the widow of the late William Eugene Adams.

Nelva attended college at UTA and UTEP. She worked for 21 years at Abilene ISD as the Employee Benefits Supervisor. She retired in 1995. She was a lifetime member of the Abilene PTA, Epsilon Sigma Alpha and Retired Teachers of Texas- Abilene branch. She was also a member of the Abilene Kiwanis Club and Broadview Baptist Church of Lubbock.

Nelva is survived by her son, John Kiousis of Lubbock; daughters, Melissa Stripling and Denise Hubbard of Lubbock, Gwen Fogg of Lafayette, La., and Jacinda Dieken of Abilene; son by love, Joe Delgado of Tahoka; sister, Billie Bridges of Lubbock; nephews, Alvin and James Ethridge; nieces, Patsy MacLeod and Sue O' Bannon, all of Lubbock. She was the grandmother and "Nana" to George and Voula Kiousis, and numerous other grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents; her sisters, Wilma Lee Cole, Luedell Fitz; and brother James LaNeal Noland.

The family suggests memorials to Broadview Baptist Church 1302 Frankford Ave. Lubbock, TX 79416
