James Doc Martin, 101 a former resident of Chattanooga, died Sunday morning at Orlando, Florida, where he had made his home for the past 3 years. He was a member of the Middle Valley Baptist Church. His survivors include a son, Leonard J. Martin of Chattanooga, five daughters, Mrs S.L. Czurap, Rossville, GA; Mrs. Margaret Hudson, Hixson, TN; Mrs. John C. Duncum, Knoxville, TN; Mrs. J.C. Perrin, Clarkston, GA; Mrs. H.L. Narramore, Greenville, South Carolina and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body will arrive in Chattanooga at 1p.m. today and will be taken to J.Avery Bryan Funeral Home. Arrangements will be announced.
