The Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, February 23, 1971: "Requiem mass for Mrs. Anna LaVern Graim, 71, of 517 North Centre Street, who was killed Sunday in a two-car accident on Route 40 at Eckhart, will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Frostburg. A native of Frostburg, Mrs. Graim was a daughter of the late Michael and Laura (Lyons) Rafferty. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the sodality. Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Graim; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Carter, Mt. Savage, and Frances Brannon, Adelphi; a half-sister, Mrs. Catherine McDonald and three grandchildren. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there tomorrow at 7 p.m."
